I`m having problems with subtitles in FMVs. Audio synch is ok, but subtitles are shown with huge delay(~10-40sec). I tried various builds, plugins, settings(framelimit+throttle especially), but it didn`t help. Can you advise me something? I would appreciate any help.
P.S. My specs: Q8200/GF9600/4GB
P.P.S. Sorry for my english Blush

I solved my problems of subtitles out of sync by using Lecrode's optimized SSE4.1 version (Intel e8400)...

After much fiddling around, I came up with a configuration that worked for me. The problem I had was that audio was coming before the video (indicated by the subtitles and lip movement). After some tweaking with general and video settings I had the opposite problem, audio was coming well after the subtitles and lip movement that indicated where it should have been, Audio Throttle solved that nicely.

Only noticeable loss in quality is the lack of anti-aliasing, appears the game does it own lighting, fogging, and blending. Not much of a surprise since hand crafted shaders are far superior to a general purpose hardware solution.

Code:
Build: r6660 x64 SSE4.1 by Lectrode
+ General
|- Enable Dual Core (on)
|- Enable Idle Skipping (on)
|- Framelimit (off)
|- Use FPS for Limiting (off)
|- JIT Recompiler

+ Display
|- Enable Progressive Scan (off)
|- Use Panic Handlers (off)

+ Direct3D11 Plugin (could not achieve perfect sync with others)
|- V-Sync (on)
|- Anisotropic (1x, can go higher if you have a good video card or two)
|- Anti-Aliasing (off, this one usually doesn't impact performance for me, but it was one of the tipping points for this game)
|- Load Native Mipmaps (on)
|- EFB Scaled Copy (on)
|- EFT Scale (Fractional)
|- Enable CPU Access (not sure if it's really needed for this game, but didn't have an impact)
|- EFB Copy (enabled, texture)
|- Accurate texture cache (disabled, another tipping points, though it didn't throw sync off much at all)
|- Disable Lighting (checked)
|- Disable Fog (checked)
|- Disable Dest. Alpha Pass (checked)
|- XFB (disabled)
|- Enable OpenCL (enabled)
|- Crop (enabled, but only because I'm running in 16:10 and don't like borders)
|- Anything not mentioned should be either off or default value.

+ DSP-HLE Plugin Settings
|- Everything on, Audio Throttle is important here, otherwise the video will get ahead of the sound.
|- Sample Rate (48,000 Hz)
|- Audio Backend (XAudio2)

I have some issues when playing with the new function "Emulate format changes" in Graphic->General->EFB section (This new option is added and checked as default in recently revision). I found out that if this option is checked then the game frame rate will drop to 2 when approaching new scene. So uncheck this if you experience similar problems.

My specs are
AMD Phenom II 3.4ghz (quad-core)
Ati HD 5870 1gb
6gb ddr3 ram (2000mhz)

This game is good and runs smothly, but in the frickin cutscenes it goes about 27 fps, which is acceptable, but if custscene is longer than 30 sec., you can clearly see that video doesnt fit in audio, which is very frustrating. Was solution for this problem ever found ? or im crying at wrong grave ?

ps: Ah never mind.......i resolved it already. Seems like Lectrode version of emu resolved problem with Audio fitting.

Your system is kind of old, you know. I played it through to the end on r6117. I only had minor problems with the audio/video sync during cutscenes. Otherwise, it's perfect.
