i have read the other posts and i think its weird since i have just recently installed a clean copy of windows xp on both of my desktops and well before on my desktop 1 it played some games like mario part 7 but now if i go to graphics and try to use direct 3d9 it said it cant load them what could this be since i have it happening on two desktops
Desktop 1 =
Intel celron 3.3 ghz
video card = Nvidea Geforce Gt 240

Desktop 2=
Intel core 2 duo 3.0 ghz
Video card= i use the same one but it has on built in which completely sucks...

Please help me out i also have a laptop which runs the games at 20-30 fps at times but has no probs with mario part 7 and i dont get this problem here... idk if that helps but yeah... Smile

Well, have you updated your DirectX runtime since the reinstallation of WinXP? -> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3

btw: Your two PC are weak. By pc 1, the CPU is the bottleneck. By pc 2, the GPU ist the bottleneck. Anyway, your specs aren't very good. You won't be able to play games at a good FPS rate...

but yeah, update your DirectX runtime and try again.

I know this sounds dumb, but Dolphin doesn't like the GT240 for whatever reason.

But yeah, update ya GPU drivers
