that's from metroid prime 1 ini. By the way, to which registry does that 'speed hack' points and which is the default value being replaced?
Unlike most other games, the Metroid games, when they're idle, wait in a very expensive busy loop, instead of the regular idle loop that our "idle skipping" can detect and skip. This hack makes time go faster inside that busy loop so that it wastes less time on it. 400 is the number of cycles to add to the time counter every time the cpu executes the instruction block at that address. The hack is therefore extremely game-specific.
I know that the Metroid prime trilogy does not work on Dolphin "out of the box" (we have to scrubb the iso and replace the main.dol) but is it possible to use the same speedhack (or at least the same kind of speedhack)?
I want to play THIS version (MP1 from the trilogy) on HD because the WiiMote is not usable in GC version but until now it (MP1 from the trilogy) is just unplayable (unlike the GC version) because its far too slow.
