Bandwidth is awful compared to a modern desktop PC. But latencies for GC/Wii mem are way better (usually 1 cycle) than DDR3, GDDR3, or GDDR5 memory.
But considering framebuffers and vertex buffers are very large data structures you would think that would be totally bandwidth dependent.
