Why relative input does not work on Dolphin emulator for me?

I want to use the left analog of my controller as the IR of Wii Remote. For this i need the relative input option activated

The problem is i cant activate it for some reason

I go to Options > Controller settings > Wiimotes > Emulated Wiimote > Configure

And then i make a tick in the square at the relative input and press "ok" However when i come back to the settings then i see that the tick disappeared from the square at the relative input.When i make ticks in other squares such as at background input etc they dont disappear.Only the tick disappears at the relative input Why is that?
