  • R4465: Game would exit fine with X but when you go to 'Stop' the emulator would crash
  • R4710 and now 4712: Emulator crashes when you quit game via Stop or X

Is this going to be fixed or is it something to do with my setup, which is in my sig?

This is what comes up in the exceptioninfo.txt file:

Unhandled Exception
Code: 0xC0000005
Call stack info:

This comes up of course after getting the standard Windows crash stuff

doesn't usually crash for me but it depends on what you where doing before trying to exit if you where doing something that is graphics intensive such as maybe a boss battle in a game or some sort of thing that could cause a slowdown then it can crash but if your just walking or your character is relatively idle then it usually does not crash

I found that to avoid the Stop crash in Wind Waker go to the subscreen.

personally i dont see why you want the dev team to waste their time fixing that with all of the other more important bugs. because it does not really matter just launch the app again

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)

well it kinda matters because vista and 7 have a chart of crashes and when you look at it and see 20 crashes in 1 day it's like wtf happened to my pc while i was.....

I have XP as you see in my stats, and it does matter when you haven't been able to save because of runtime errors when you do save state
