why is dolphin the best emulator?

is it because GCN and Wii are easier to emulate compare to other consoles excluding PS1 and older consoles or the developers are really good programmers??

and no, it's simply because more talented developers were interested in making a fast and accurate emulator for GC and Wii for an extended period of time than other consoles.

Everybody keeps throwing around whether a console is "easier" or not. It's rarely the case. It's just developer interest over a long period of time. And Dolphin had a history of attracting very bored, very talented developers. Whether it's because the console was interesting to work on, they wanted to fix something that was annoying them, or they just liked the games on the console and wanted to learn about emulation.

Honestly Dolphin is terrible at a lot of things. It's just that it does a select few things very well, and it happens to make for an overall good experience for most users.

Note how many years users asked us for better netplay and nobody stepped up to fix it, which resulted in a fork.

all emulator have issues but dolphin is the most stable

unique features such as controller profiles per game, displaying the status of the game, screenshot, built in patch and ar codes, great emulation, HD Texture packs, importing and exporting wii saves, netplay and many many more to come

Uhh... But features such as Codes, Saves Import/Export, Texture Packs, Game Status and Screenshots among other features are not unique to Dolphin...

For me it's the features and support from the devs here.
Custom textures and hack codes, that is so exciting for me.

Wish we could mod/improve the audio too.

Also, I can think of a few other emulators that are "better" but we're the only ones with writers that parade our work every month so users are always talking about us.
