I never said Android version, I specifically said Android edition. All currently released Android versions since 5.0 are available both in 32-bit and 64-bit editions.

Also, like JosJuice mentioned, RAM size isn't directly correlated to whether the device will run a 64-bit edition or not. I've already seen entry-level devices with just 2 GB of RAM running 64-bit Android as well as mid-range devices with 4 GB of RAM running 32-bit Android (although is probably safe to assume anything with more than 4 GB of RAM will be running 64-bit Android)...

The Samsung guy's wording is throwing me off, haha. I never actually said anything about Android version either, my wording was "a 64 bit version of Android", and the Samsung guy's gone from there.

I might not necessarily sound funny, when your tablet is based on intel atom, hence x86 family based cpu.

With the exception of some variants of the Galaxy Tab 3, all Samsung tablets uses ARM-based CPUs...

Lenovo seem to be implying as well that the 4GB thing is set by Android rather than the manufacturer. Maybe more recent versions of Android have that.

Tabs with RAM less than or equal to 4GB do not run 64bit Android.

Even this one is a 32bit android version.

That’s purely a lenovo decision, google has never made ABI selection memory dependent.

That is marketing and product placement. Whatever if its Windows or Android, what is stoppping you to run 64 bit os on 2 GB RAM machine. Take out RAM from your PC and see yourself

I know hey, I remember running XP64 back when 1GB of RAM was good.
