Why gaming laptop doesnt play dolphin perfectly?

Hey, I have a lenovo y560 laptop that can play even the newest pc games at full graphics on a 1080p monitor at full speed (even on the highest graphics on Crysis 2). But for some reason, I am having trouble running dolphin games at playable conditions. For example, I have odd texture glitches in some games and the games slow down considerably at times. I tried following the performance tips at the dolphin support page and I also have gamebooster. Can you suggest setting configurations that will maximize my gaming experience please? Thanks a lot
