The title says it all. Why don't you update the PlayStore version of Dolphin? I understand that it doesn't work on all devices anymore but we could make a list of working devices and allow them to install it.

The version on the play store has been taken down, there won't be updates to it.

It was over a year old and there hasn't been a time during that year where development of the Android version was stable enough to cut a stable release.
Also I couldn't be arsed to do so when it is so easy to sideload it. 02-23-2016, 12:38 AM
It was also getting bad marks because most devices are super slow running GC/Wii games (as if it was our fault!) and it would be kind of bad if almost everyone who updated just to have it no longer work!

Yea, the play store version still allowed ES 2.0 devices to run the software renderer(Which isn't made to be fast) and then they complained hard.

We're mostly looking for contributors, not for testers. The Android port is still very known for having bugs. I were trying hard to push those guys here in the forum to try to build dolphin from source on their own. Bad luck, seems like nobody wants to spend some minutes to help the project. I heavily doubt this ratio will be better within the official google play store.
