ok I got 3 remotes available although I can only find two at the moment, both connect to the dolphin bar no problem, work as a mouse, but dolphin 4.0.2 says a supported bluetooth device couldn't be found, I did run the v04 firmware update, that didn't help. I have a rvl-036 and a rvl-003 controller, the oo3 from what I can tell is the original non-motion controller. What do I have to do to actually be able to use my controllers? I no longer have access to a wii console so I was really hoping to use my disks on my computer.

You need to use the latest development builds for the Dolphinbar. 4.0.2 will not work!

The code is right, but that's easily faked (obviously). 3rd party controllers usually don't work with Dolphin.

That may be a problem... Only DVD drives that can be modified to operate outside of their specifications can read GameCube and Wii discs.

Fund the third remote. Two of the controllers (rvl-036) I know are authentic and the 003 doesn't show any signs I can tell to be a counterfeit, what ever changes they made must be internal, the outside is identical in structure.
I also tried dolphin 4.0.7, and another that was linked in the dolphinbar review, although I couldn't find any files in the folder to identify it past 4.0, all three have the same problem. My pc accepts all 3 remotes and they sync almost instantly, just not to dolphin.

I'll worry about the disks later, I have a box of tower cd and dvd drives, but with out the controllers there is little point in digging the drives out.

What version exactly will have the best results with dolphin bar?

There is no such thing as 4.0.7! Do you mean 4.0-7xxx?

In case you haven't already, go to our downloads page and try the latest development version, 4.0-7007. It will work with the Dolphinbar fine.

Remember to set one of the Wiimotes to "Real Wiimote", and that Continuous Scanning is checked.

So i've seen that a lot of people have these problems. one suggestion: is your dolphin bar plugged into a usb 3.0 port? people have said that their issue were resolved when they tried a 2.0 port. hope that helps

Yeah I haven't had any luck getting Dolphin bar to work through Dolphin either. It sync's to my Wiimotes fine, I can use them as a controller in windows with the mode changed, but Dolphin will have none of it. I have tried ... 4.0.2212 , 5 rc19 and now 4.0-7519 , nothing.

At the bottom of the main window I do see 'Wiimote Connected' but nothing comes of it. games don't see it, configuration is greyed out in Dolphin.

plugging Dolphin bar into USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports has no effect.
Main rig: i7-4790k@5Ghz, 32Gb DDR3, 2x980gtx's in SLi, win10 pro x64 on SSD

i read in another post something and managed to get it running:
install dolphinbar
pair your wiimotes
switch to mode 4
unplug the dolphin bar
hold the sync button and replug the dolphinbar
hold the sync button until the gamecontroller shows up in devices.
now dolphin sees the wiimote, and doesnt crash anymore when clicking on refresh Big Grin
