Is it a fault of my (not great but decent) graphics card, or is Mii rendering simply not understood by Dolphin yet? So far, I've managed to see blank faces with noses and hair, but no facial features. It's my understanding that the library in games is drawing the face to a texture in memory, but I'm not sure what's going on past that point, and it may well be drawing the individual parts as polygons, I'm not really sure on that.

Does anyone have insight on that? It's not really a problem in terms of gameplay (well, except for that one game in Wii Play, but you can get past it without winning) but it is... *fairly* creepy to be boxing a guy with no face. ^_^

I figure that the face data is loaded from the Wii content files. Since Dolphin doesn't have any of that data, no face to load onto the head. Else maybe its a small graphics bug which seems unlikely.

AHA! Found one that would render!

I'm not sure how the game is doing this, but I saw it right after I dumped my Nand. File 2 was on my Nand on my real Wii, and there's my roommate's face shining bright. I can't tell if this is really being rendered or if it's a cache that's stored in the save file? Either way, it's the first Mii I've ever seen Dolphin render correctly. ^_^

Yes, but you need to dump OS from Wii with original 1.0 version... And that's nearly impossible to get one.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+
2GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB

VISTA ULTIMATE x64
