Well. After changing all posible settings. Mario party 8 pal in tablet board speed is locked at 25fps. On minigames 50fps. Maybe a bug, a restriction, maybe the game was made that way... dont know.

Because it's a pal game. PAL games run at 50 Hz.

And some games are capped to 25/30 fps in-game. 25 for PAL versions. 30 for NTSC versions

Yep no problem about 50fps. Problem is tablet board locked to 25fps. But as you say, I guess the tablet board is capped at that speed. And only minigames runs at full speed (50). Weird... but true.

Tablet board doesnt look more graphic demanding than minigames. Probably a bad optimized game.

Or more likely it's more demanding to run the main game than a minigame.

An i5-2500k is not what I would call "terribly out of date." It's only two generations behind, which isn't so bad. Then again, nobody is going to take me seriously because of my user title. Confused

NaturalViolence was referring to your Dolphin build, not your hardware build.

Even so, new Haswell systems blow my i5-2500K out of the water. Someone had a laptop with an i7-4702MQ; even with it Turbo Boosting only to 3.2 GHz, I'd need to OC to 4.0GHz+ (not sure on the exact number) just to match it. My i5-2500K isn't quite "old" yet, but that just means it'll be sweet whenever I do upgrade.

Fixed that for you. Tallix wasn't even involved in the discussion. The OP was using one of those extremely old builds from mammario's site.

I hereby present my apology in the form of free grammar nazi images: (Show Spoiler)

My bad, Tallix was quoting you, so I assumed he/she was responding to you directly, rather than quoting something from two weeks ago. People are tricky... Sad

It's technically not grammatically incorrect (since all the sentence syntax is indeed correct) but the possessive pronouns are contextually misused, which is just as bad since 1) the statement does not logically follow and 2) the statement is false. But no one's ever heard of context nazis, so grammar nazi works fine :p
