Guess it's a silly question, but it's always been interesting to me. Obviously its not just one person writing all the codes but these websites never credit people who write codes and it seems like a creditless job. I was looking for people who had experience writing cheat codes for GameCube games to release a netplay code for Mario Power Tennis but I couldn't find any individual people credit for writing codes. Maybe i'm writing this to see if I could find someone who could do that but also it'd be cool to hear other peoples experience with this sort of thing. I know I've downloaded plenty of cheat codes for my action replays or gecko homebrew app but never once have I seen a name credit.
Who writes cheat codes for games?
