doesnt work. so i have to use hle. I can't fix the sound issue? its that cause my cpu its not fast enough? cause i only have sound prob with this game. Cracking sound when skipping chat dialog, music in background scrambles..

Deal with it. Your CPU isn't fast enough to use DSP and you have to use HLE, sorry.

And an alternate fix doesn't exist (at the moment)

The XAudio engine fixed the sound problem for me, even with HLE...

However, in DX9 the "light glow" effect is out-of-place. The farther you get from the object, the larger the displacement.

Hi, I know this might need another forum or else, but I looked around and no answer helped me.
It's about this game, recently I had to restart my laptop. I had this game and it was running fine with the rev 7335. But after this restart, I guess some DLL files went missing or something, I can't use it anymore (something about error 0xc000007b).
Today, I decided to get the newest rev, 3.0-377-dirty, I tried all the games I had (HM ToT, Hm MM, RF: ToD, FF CC...) and they worked fine except this one. I tried changing all the config as I saw in other forums/posts, but no one worked. The problem is: it stays at FPS 0, and VPS and SPEED varies, it can stay 60 / 100 or increase, but the FPS stays 0. The screen stays black, not even loading a thing aside the yellow specs letters (which freezes like that, or when I change of windows those might disappear)

I know this isn't the right post, but if anyone can help with it... I love this game, it was one I used to play most.
