Are you talking about gamecube/wii games through dolphin? If not and they are regular pc games then those videos are meaningless for gauging dolphin performance.

Even on the desktop 350 isn't a great budget for dolphin.

Resolution means nothing to me. And yes those YouTube videos were PC Games but I was just adding that to show how PC Games run. Also remember, most of the games I want to run are not demanding. I want my computer to be an everything computer. Also, does anyone know how DeSmuME would run on the A8?
PC Specs
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5GHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: 8GB 2400MHz DDR4
OS: Windows 10 64-Bit

Don't have much AMD hardware myself, but most anything will decently run Desmume these days. To put things into perspective, I've got an old Intel E2200 @ 2.2 GHz that runs 0.9.8 Desmume fullspeed, even with filters on like HQ2Xs (all in software rendering). Surely the hardware you're looking at is stronger than that Big Grin

*sigh of relief* cuz every YouTube video I saw showed DeSmuME lagging serverely. But now I dont have to settle for NO$GBA! Also, this question is to everyone, would the quad core A8 4500m run PCSX2 well?

If half-speed on most games is bearable to you then yes .
You will have to keep minimum graphics and use some speed hack and make sure you enable "MTVU - Multi-threaded MicroVU1"
Like I said many times before , Even Quad Core A10 4600M can't beat i3 370M in multithreaded benchmark , you should not expect good performance in PSCX2 & Dolphin . Some light-weight games can run fullspeed though
For the same price(laptop) , 3rd gen i3 3120M @ 2.5GHz is even faster than my 1st gen i5 480M @ 2.9GHz .
This Laptop is your best bet

If you're planning on doing PC gaming you definitely want to got the AMD route and get a trinity APU.

Wow thanks admin89. That's a perfect price. How much better would the performance be compared to say 2nd gen i5 with intel 3000 or the AMD laptops stated earlier? And I want to play PC Games, but the newest games I want to play would be Batman Arkham City, AC3, and Scribblenauts Unlimited. The rest would be games like GTA IV and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2. The question is: is the extra performance for Dolphin worth losing the performance for PC Games, or would it be on par for PC Games?
