Will my 32bit laptop run dolphin 3.0 or 3.5?

Since new ones don’t have 32bit support, and there is lot of time till I get a new laptop, I want to try an old dolphin for my 32bit

That laptop cpu likely could run a 64 os assuming you have driver for 64bit. Which mean the new build of dolphin of dolphin might work. That said even under idea condition dolphin would likely run slow. 32 bit by the way goes to 4.1. You can experiment with older version to see if the performance is reasonable though but you won't have any support. I think 3.5 was faster then 3 if a remember though.

Look up you model on the manufacturer's website it should have a list of drivers. The cpu is 64bit but a look of laptop of the era only had 32bit drivers if y remember right though. Window 10 might be able to get the drivers though window update also.

....okay, so um, "drivers" is not how this works at all. So, I'll explain it.

Dolphin requires access to a 64-bit CPU. There are many reasons why we no longer support 32-bit but we wrote a whole article about it so, I'll link that HERE. So for Dolphin to run, your CPU needs to support 64-bit (yours does) and your operating system needs to be 64-bit as well. A 32-bit operating system will not allow Dolphin to use the 64-bit functionality of your hardware, and thus Dolphin will not work even though your CPU is 64-bit.

If your operating system is 32-bit, there are no "drivers" to download or install to fix this. The only solution is to install a 64-bit Windows version. Unfortunately, it is impossible to upgrade to a 64-bit version, you'd have to do a brand new installation. However, your existing Windows key will work with 64-bit, so if you want to do that it will only cost you time.

Now to answer your initial question, the last version of Dolphin to support 32-bit version was 4.0-1609. If you are stuck to 32-bit, this will give you the best possible result. However, please be aware that this Dolphin version is over 6 years old, and not only Does Dolphin have dozens of new features and WAY fewer bugs, Dolphin is also WAAAY faster now! So if you are willing to go with a new 64-bit Windows installation, you will get a lot more out of that old hardware. And you'll need it, cause that is very old hardware and it will struggle alot with Dolphin.

Sorry for any confusion. I meant his cpu is a 64but capable of running a 64 bit OS. However I lot of laptop in the early I'm that era didn't have 64 bit driver your would need for the os to work properly. He can install a 64 bit OS but if he doesn't have properly work network or graphics etc it isn't going to matter.

There is a high chance that the processor might not support Windows 10.

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...z-fsb.html

The T6600 is classified as a Legacy Intel Core processor with codename Penryn. Which doesn´t even appear in that table compatibility list (further pointing to being unable to use W10 on that machine).
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

nintendo13wii's operating system is listed as "Windows 10 Home x64 (32 bit)" in their profile. While the "x64 (32 bit)" is confusing (I'm assuming they mean x86 32-bit), it's pretty safe to say that they are running Windows 10 on that hardware.

EDIT: So the official Windows 10 system requirements are HERE. That isn't difficult to reach at all, even a 20 year old computer could reach that! ...except it wouldn't actually work. Like, you can't run Windows 10 on a 1ghz Pentium 3 even if it meets those requirements. This is because those aren't the actual Windows 10 requirements at all! Windows doesn't actually care how fast your CPU is, you can run it on a toaster for all it cares. What it actually cares about is CPU features, sufficient storage space for its files, and RAM quantity. That's all! The 1ghz requirement is because more or less aa CPU that can reach 1ghz will have the needed CPU features. So this goes way beyond my expertise, but from everything I know, Core 2 has everything required to run Windows 10. If you are curious for more, here's some links!
