Leave LLE on thread aside . If you upgrade from a dual core CPU to a quad core CPU , you will get 15-20% speed boost because you will leave 2 cores for background processing
Although i7 3612QM is fast but still not worth it . IMO , you should aim for i7 3820QM or better CPU

I wish. 3820QM has a higher TDP than my computer was made for. It's an Envy model Pavilion, so it's made for efficient power. If that processor was in the equation, I wouldn't even have had to make this thread. lol
