Nope, it's not worse The Core i7-3770k is just more expensive cause it has HyperThreading (Dolphin won't benefit from HT) and a bigger L3 cache. For people, how do video encoding/decoding etc., the i7-3770k is the better choice. For the other people, the i5-3570k is the best choice

Stock speed should be sufficient for most games.
To maintain a good framerate for certain games like SMG1&2, The Last Story, etc, you'll have to overclock your CPU to 4.2GHz or so atleast. note: this doesn't guarantee 100% at all times either. It's just a general recommendation. Make sure you have a third-party cooler. Do not overclock with the stock cooler. 09-17-2012, 01:15 AM
