Hello, I am about ready to buy my first gaming laptop ever. I've wanted one for years.

I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on these two laptops, these two were the best I could find for my budget (at least $900, below $1200)

http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=34-198-065

And

From what i've read upon researching dolphin is that the processor is the most important. I can't decide because one has an i7-6700hq at 2.6ghz but the other is i7-5700hq at 2.7ghz.

Are ghz more important than the difference between 6700 and 5700?

Please let me know what you think about these two, thanks!

The improvements to Skylake would easily make up for the lower clock speed.

As I'm sure everybody else will ask, so I'll ask first so we can get this out of the way: Does it have to be a laptop? You pay a significant premium for a laptop form factor when building a desktop is half the price for that kind of performance.

anyways, assuming a desktop isn't an option, go with the Acer.

Thank you for the reply! And no, it may sound ridiculous but I only want a laptop at the moment.
