Hi

i would like to buy a a mini-pc (mini-itx) to connect it to my tv fullHD for retrogaming.
Is Dolphin supported in the same way both from Intel i5/i7 and AMD Ryzen 2600X/2700X?
I would like to buy an AMD Ryzen 2600X, cheaper and with really good performance. Or is it better to buy and Intel processor because it has a better compatibility with Dolphin?

I will buy a motherboard like Gigabyte B360N or AsRock AB350 Gaming ITX/AC AMD AM4.  And the GPU will be a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Mini ZT-P10600A

what do you suggest?

thanks

If you want to know about cemu perf I recommend asking a cemu community.

We can't really help you here.

AFAIK Cemu's OpenGL Video Backend (the only one available for now) runs slow and output completely messed graphics on AMD GPUs due a series of driver bugs. For Dolphin, it doesn't really matter if you go with AMD or NVIDIA as we have DX11, Vulkan and OpenGL and all of them runs more or less the same on both brands. So, as long as you get an NVIDIA GPU (to prevent the buggy drivers) and a recent Intel or AMD Ryzen processor, you should be good to go for both Dolphin and Cemu...

thanks. I will buy a Zotac Ghx 1060 as GPU.  And as CPU i will buy an i5 8600 (in turbo mode it can reach 4.3Ghz starting from 3.1Ghz as default speed) or an i7 8700 (in turbo mode it can reach 4.6ghz starting from a default value of 3.2Ghz).

Do you think that both are OK and i can use the emulator at its best performance?
thanks!

For Dolphin, absolutely, everything (even the most demanding games) should run fine on this setup.
For Cemu, based on my limited experience with it, I think it's good too, but you're better asking on their forums to be 100% sure...

With Dolphin can I use all Wii games even with a joypad like Logitech Rumble Pad 2 or 8bitDo SF30 sf30 pro? For example also games like Zleda Skyward sword? In any case I have the Mayflash sensor bar, so i have to find a video explaining how to configure it in order to use the wii mote too, if it is necessary...

No. If you want to be able to play all Wii games, you need a real Wii Remote (plus the necessary extension controllers). There's a fairly large number of games that work fine with a joypad, but Zelda: Skyward Sword is not one of them.

I reccomend you forgo the DolphinBar and first try Passthrough. If you're using the latest dev version, it should be available to use. If you're using Windows, Linux, or an older OS X (before 10.9), then the guide is available here:
https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough#Setting_up

If yoir cursor completely freezes after loading, then try setting up 2 sources of IR light like you would a sensor bar (I prefer candles, so I'd light 2 of them and place both about a foot away from your monitor, about 3-4 inches apart).Make sure that a keyboard, mouse or something else isn't blocking the pathway between the controller and the IR soirce, if you're trying that.

ah, is it better not to use the mayflash sensor bar? And what is Passthrough exactly? Is it an option of the Dolphin emulator that make me able to use Wii Mote + Nunchuck (i have the original one) without any sensor bar??? If so, it will be great!!!!  But have I to buy an additional hardware component for my pc or not?

If it is necessary a bluetooth usb adaptor, I have just bought one, this: https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B01LX6HISL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1  I use it for the joypad 8bitdo 30 SF Pro.

I'm sorry but i haven't understood very well,...

Ok, i can download the latest Dolphin version, this: 5.0-8545

Thank you very much for your help!

P.S.: I have Windows 10
