Asus or Gigabyte are a good choice, I've heard good things regarding Asrock as well. Pick the model that fit your budget, if in doubt just search online for review, there are a lot out there.

I'd also suggest the 2500k. Don't get any of the AMD CPU's.

Intel Core i5-2500k. Don't bother with AMD CPU's, they don't work as well.
