It reminds me I also need to watch Haruhi. Many of my friends recommended it to me.

Hope there could be a manga/anime kind of "expert" here...
For some reason I'm generally not that much into mainstream popular manga/anime, but recently there's one that catched my curiosity enough to go checking. Why? Due to the promising love plot between the 2 main characters it allegedly had according to general media in internet without spoiling myself. Even if thing is still ongoing, result was disastrous. Which series? UQ Holder. Yes, I'm conscious it's an attempted sequel to the popular Negima thing (which I never cared about whatsoever, by the way), thus it *forcibly* had to have a catch for new male protagonist, but the naive me wanted to have some hope. >"Once in a big while one deserves it!" Well, seemingly not. It's yet another "harem" thing with main love plot -or it should be- featuring yet another incongrous female who was already clearly hinted she feels like corresponding male protagonist, yet *always* >"LOL, f**k you. No way. What did you think, you jerk?". >"Or, well, wait till the very end of the series, when it happens, and we'll see if just a very small chance". Male protagonist is certainly idiotic, but not a jerk... For this age that's already clean trolling, and japanese people keep liking it LOTS, otherwise they'd have already stopped allowing themselves to be milked and the consequence would have long ago been executed -series getting axed, or the like-. Anyway, probably I should have expected this from the author of such thing as love hina (another never read/watched), though from the very few I have seen/heard, there's little to no difference between this man's axed endings and completed endings. Or, it's just the consequence of not being part of the average people, no matter the country. If I was to be given this c**p since the beginning I'd rather have watched the entire how I met your mother, or even mexican drug tv novels. Is it that it's made this way precisely because of being aimed for previous series's old fans thus seeing new protagonist as kind of an eyesore? At least this is what I -kind of- understood from other vulgar anime forums... Am I really just the only one to "blame"? 05-13-2017, 12:17 AM

So today I discovered there are like 4 different orders to watch Haruhi Suzumiya
Edit: oh no, I'm going to watch the same thing 8 times 05-13-2017, 12:38 AM
Hm ? There's only 2 seasons, right ?

Well there are upsides and downsides to both orders; if you watch it chronologically then it's easier to piece things together, but the pacing goes to shit because one of the big emotional climaxes is just smack dab in the middle of the series. If you watch it in the order it was aired, then after you clear the hurdle that is making it through episode 00 without knowing what the fuck is going on, then you can piece most of it together while watching, even if it does require a bit more thought, and the pacing of the show makes more sense. It comes down to personal preference--I myself usually watch it in chronological order since I've already seen it, so the pacing doesn't matter as much anymore. But the important thing is to watch every episode so you can enjoy the movie, which is the best part of the series.

Started watching Madoka without knowing at all what it is.
Episode 3 was brutal.

I discarded Madoka at first for the Mahou Shoujo thing, until I read about the wtf moments towards Ep 3. Wasn't disappointed.
