Hello all. I recently finished all eight levels of the Wii version and am ready to begin the final 9-1 Golden Temple. I was wondering where the normal game saves is stored, like the ones that tell the game to go back to level 8 when I quit it normally, not the ones I actively stored using Dolphin to cheat and stored at C:\Users\xyz\OneDrive\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\StateSaves. I am hoping to find that save file and explore the option of converting it to be used in Cemu, the emulator for Wii U, since this game is also available there. Thanks.

The Wii U "version" isn't even the same game, it's a sequel, a new game. If you're referring to running DKCR on vWii, Cemu doesn't support that AFAIK and even if it supported it would not offer any advantage over running the Wii version in Dolphin...

If you want the save data, right-click on the game in the game list and pick "Open Wii save folder" or "Export Wii save" (depending on if you want it in the raw format or the format that's used by the System Menu for storing save data on SD cards). But like the others said, you won't be able to use it in Cemu.
Gotcha. Thank you and the others so so much. I wonder since when all these dolphin files were saved into my OneDrive. I remember finishing New Super Mario Wii a while back, but when I reinstalled my system and dolphin, that save is gone. I am not sure if I should replay the game to get the sense of completion. Can the Chinese version New Super Mario saves be used in the English version?
