Hey, thanks so much!
I'm happy to report that 4771, when configured, is maybe twice as fast as the latest public build for Baldur's Gate. The biggest thing is sound: it stutters badly with this game in the latest public release, no matter what settings I try. With 3.0 and below the sound is perfect. 3.0 is still a little slow visually, almost Matrix like (I actually kind of like the effect) while 4771 is full speed, yet not as smooth as 3.0 ... a little jerky here and there.
I guess my main point is: Anyone wanting to play Baldur's on Dolphin would be smart to look at older builds ...
Another trade off: on older builds the sound is noticeably louder in the left channel than it is in the right channel. No idea why, but the greatly improved speed is still worth it.
Thanks again, Zee530 and Shonumi!
