Considering that Wii U is about the same architecture as the Wii, just with a faster cpu and gpu (and more memory); Wii U builds will be possible in the future right?

The Wii U is about the same architechture as the Wii? I dont think that is correct. I am no expert, but there are a few differences I know of:
Wii has single CPU and Wii U has tri core CPU
Wii U has a custom GPU that is not the same as the Wiis

Basically I do not think there are any plans to have Dolphin play Wii U games at this time.
