ER earlier I said ATI RAGE IIC, but I'm not sure If I had that or My old S3 VIRGE GX/DX First. I don't remember that time period well so i don't remember which came first

The rage had 8mb vram and the rage 128 pro had the 16-32mb vram. Funny thing, I have both of those cards sitting on my desk right now.

Man....the first "3D accelerator" video card I recall was either the Diamond Monster 3D II 3DFX Voodoo2 6MB PCI or some 2MB PCI video card. Either way, we thought it was the best video card on the market. I remember playing the PC port of Final Fantasy VII with hardware accelerated graphics for the first time and nearly crapping my pants in excitement. I think that was around July 1998.
