The old layout for the Wiimote layout is completely different to what it used to be and I can't find what the IR option is. All I can find are Shake, Point, Tilt and Swing. I did change it to sideways option, but that doesn't make it any clearer.

If you set the wiimote to sideways the IR pointer will not function. Can you post a picture of your settings?

IR is still used in the game though and you need it to progress though it. Also I read online that the only buttons the game uses are 1, 2, +, -, A and B along with IR.

OK thanks. BTW, is there a way to toggle hide point? "Not" makes it go away when you stop holding a button.
