Hi guys,
I am trying to connect my wiimote (motion+) with nunchuck to my computer.
I built my computer and I don't think it has bluetooth built in.
I did some research on how to connect to PC but I don't know which USB bluetooth dongle I should get.
Also, how does PC detect wiimote sensor bar?

The PC has nothing to do with the sensorbar, the sensorbar just emitts IR light.

As bluetootj dongle, you could choose anyone. I personally use a bluetooth adapter from Hama when I play with my old Notebook.

Thank you. I will get this cheapest one from amazon.com. I hope it works. LOL.

Wouldn't I still need the sensorbar for IR light whether I use wiimote for PC or wii?

A sensor bar is recommended for most games. But you can theorically play without one

You can buy a sensor bar for 2$ on eBay, because the Wii sensorbar is only a couple of IR LEDs, that gets power through the Wii.

As for a Bluetooth dongle, I use a 1$ from eBay and I don't have any input lag nor any problems with connecting the Wiimote to the computer Smile

I'm sure that bluetooth dongle will work with only 1 wiimote , it won't work with 2 wiimotes well

Actually, just tested with two Wiimotes and still there is no input lag, nor did I have problems connecting it Wink

Well , i had the same dongle in the past ('bout 2 years ago) , it worked with 2 wiimotes on the first try (no input lag) . The connection degrade over time (input lag with 2 wiimotes ) . 5-6 months later , it only connect 1 wiimote (no input lag though) . I couldn't really complain since it has worked for me for 1 year then i lost it somewhere in my storehouse
Anyway , I recommend "class 1" USB dongle for multi-wiimotes . My "class 1" dongle work with 3 wiimotes without an issue , the 4th wiimote cause input lag though

I bought nine of them, so that shouldn't be a problem for me if one break. Also, if I play multiplayer, I usually play on my brothers Wii since we have multiple gamecube and Wii controllers.
But it was good to know your experience with that dongle Smile
