Yes, and it also costs $150 less than the next processor that will give him better dolphin performance (i5 4690k.) I'd only recommend investing in an i5k if he is interested in future PC gaming titles that might not support dual-cores.

Yeah it is, I already bought the thermal compound that I need and have seen vids on how to apply it and stuff, is a yoga mat as good as a ESD mat ? cause the fabric looks the same from the pics I have seen.
