To be safe,  I would say Exynos,  just because the CPU is noticeably faster compared to a Krait core.  Mali drivers are slower,  but Samsung is really conservative with driver updates,  so odds are the snapdragon variant will continue to have outdated driver versions.  The other question is,  are you alright with touchwiz?  Because the exynos version has VERY restricted custom rom availability.

Mali has the slowest video drivers on the market, but they are the least buggy.
Qualcomm is faster than Mali, but they are buggy.
Pick your poison.

I would say Exynos because even with the slower Mali drivers the A15's are much faster than the Krait 400's.

The CPU doesn't really matter due to how much it is CPU limited in the video drivers.
The ODROID-XU3 can only run Animal Crossing's title screen at ~22FPS due to it being completely limited by the video drivers. So CPU speed doesn't really do much. The CPU core is sitting around most of the time waiting for the GPU thread to finish.

Wait and get Zenfone 2,  the 64bit Intel JIT is very mature and has many more developers,  and the PowerVR 6 chip should be able to deliver reasonably comparable performance to the Adreno and Mali chips.  Assuming it all works.  Plus the zenfone would double as an actually good phone.

The x86_64 recompiler doesn't yet work on Android. It isn't something I am rushing towards implementing since I don't really care about x86.
