Hello, so far, it has been a record 20 minutes for me, I have tried a few different games but either the game freezes or the audio starts crackling. I have a decent computer, running between 40-60fps on each game. Is it the version i'm using? 3.0-774

Also, I tried saving a state in Mario Party 9, and when I reloaded it, the crackling still existed and it said communication error between the wii remote. Is there a best time to save states?

One serious powerhouse right there.

I have played for hours without either. If you use LLE, ther shouldn't be any crackling.

What game are you playing? Maybe we can help with the freezing too.

Look out for quad a's man. I'm telling ya. I've played mario party 9 and got the crackling, i played the legend of zelda twlight princess and it froze. What is LLE? Unless you mean DSP LLE recompiler, the option seemed to be set to DSP HLE emulation by default. I'll try out the other option.

LLE is a different audio backend that requires DSP dumps from your Wii. You can checkout the process here --> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=23103

Basically it gets rid of most audio problems present in the default audio backend (HLE).

This can help us mostly with why it freezes.

I tried the LLE, it was chopping every second =/. What I did instead was i turned on the dump LLE on thread and turned it back to DSP HLE. There hasn't been a problem yet with the sound. Are save states functional? Mine seem to always be broken when I load them.

The crackling still exists after about 10 minutes of playing Mario Party 9. Hmm...

LLE On Thread does nothing to HLE.

Show us your settings (screenshots please).

This is my audio setting, I think it was the default one. I have the option for XAudio2 instead of DSound. Should I try that out? XAudio2 went well for a bit, then it started chopping.

That is only one pane of what you need to post. Please include screenshots of:
