there is actually... some games for windows titles see the wireless controller with different button mappings because they read the raw values improperly.

There are pieces of software that can emulate the xbox pad with any other pad, so you can play all the games that work with the xbox thingy too.

Could you pleeeease make a screenshot from your gamepad configuration for the usb adapter with the original ps2 controller?
I don't get it-.-

Why not the GC controller or any other original? There are a lot of adapters out there now, this one is cool because you can plug in any controller. So its good for emulation on the GC emulator as well.

'cause i'd have to buy a controller and an adapter

i actually have a usb-ps2 adapter... mayb i'll try that first, or is the 360 better ...

i didn't like the ps3 motionjoy drivers because it really screwed up the usb ports, and it was a pain to switch the bt to another port every time i wanted to use the original wiimote. i suppose trying the ps3 wired is ok too.

i was just curious about how the above controllers handled for GC games

Using the wireless PS3 DS3 with dolphin feels pretty good and I'm sure any gamepads that has the ps2 or ps3 controller layout would be the same too. But games like Super Mario Galaxy or games that heavily rely on the motion actions, then the real wii remote would probably be a better choice. So, really I think it depends on the game you play. Overall, the ps3 controller does a very good job.

I'm thinking about getting the Xbox 360 or the logitech Wireless Gamepad F710. Anyone have experience with either of these gamepad with Dolphin or Pcsx2?

Edit: I purchased the PS3 DualShock 3 Controller (world's best controller ever made!) and a fairly high priced USB Bluetooth adapter and now I'm gaming with dolphin! The best purchase I've ever made!

Sorry to hear that.
Mine stil working on every PC game but cant get it working with dolphin anymore.
Could it be I,m used or didn't use a wrong setting or app.
basicly question is how did you get it to work stable.
