Hello guys. The past couple of days I have been doing extensive research on all these fancy technology names/numbers and stuff. I have watched Dolphin videos on Youtube, checking specs, seen what works and what doesn't,what the best processors are,the recommended RAM,the necessary video cards, read reviews,etc... Oh and I also read the PC Buying Guide from this very forum.
Still,I am far from being an expert on the matter so I decided I would try to get help from this forum.
Alright,so what I would like to do is be able to run games at maximum resolution,if possible 1080p. Although a Wii game here and there wouldn't hurt,I will be playing strictly Gamecube games...You know, the classics. And I really want to make sure that they run at full speed, preferably 60 FPS on average. I'm a bit picky when it comes to not getting the 'full experience',so if it happened to run moderately slow, that'd be a shame...
As far as the processor is concerned,I take it the Intel Core i7 920 overclocked(I saw it @ 3,8 Ghz in this one YouTube video..) is the way to go. However, the processor for this PC is an Intel Core i7-860 Quad Core. Does it make that much of a difference? And is ATI Radeon HD 5770 Graphics Card With 1GB Memory good enough?
Anyway, that is too much talking from me. Please feel free to give me any suggestions on overclocking, upgrading some parts on this particular PC(I don't want to spend that much more on a dedicated gaming PC),Dolphin settings and anything else that helps.
Thanks.
