It's possible some menu transitions use some sort of instruction the JIT falls back to interpreter on, but I'm not aware of any notable cases.

I saw a lot of this happening.

It s not important, but it s there. If you play many games with fps on screen you will notice in initial home screen on simple game menus like mario party saga, fps fall to 10 or 20 for a second whileavigating through them. Not sure if real wii behaves like that. Also not sure if cache textures has something to do since they are simply 2d menus.

It s totally irrelevant and doesnt affect gameplay at all. But im curious too to see why this happen. Wonder f this abrupt fps changes could cause some online netplay desync.
