Remember to set efb to texture and activate the ZTP hack.

You shouldn't use dolphin just to reduce input lag since the input lag caused by emulation will be more significant than the input lag caused by a display.

I tried it but it seems to run slow too in large complex area's in MG. I'm in the process of OCing my system, about how high should I go?

According to all that I've read, my 1055t can safely OC to at least 3.8GHz with the cooler I have on it.

I use the keyboard and mouse since I like mapping the wii mote movement to keys instead of motion. Makes using Links specials a whole lot easier. MG does run pretty fast in both revisions outside of the base area. I really need to try out more games to see how they run. Maybe after I achieve a stable OC.

Edit: I see, the older revision was so my TP saves wouldn't corrupt.

As I said:
Quote:And nothing short of a heavily overclocked i7 can run super mario galaxy at fullspeed all the time since it's such a cpu heavy game.

As for how high you should OC. As high as you can safely go. SMG is one of the few games that almost no one can run at fullspeed (sonic colors, metroid prime(s), starfox adventures are some others that are hard to achieve fullspeed in).

If you want some suggestions for some games that are emulated well, will run at fullspeed, and are fun to play check out super mario sunshine, the legend of zelda: wind waker, new super mario brothers, donkey kong country returns, mario kart double dash, and luigi's mansion.
