Try naming the cheat with basic "Capital" layout and only use 1 word so there's no spaces.
For some reason,it really doesn't like spaces and extra characters in cheat names.

If your device is capable,try the Vulkan backend on the latest master build,its less prone to crashing at random times.

I have aquestion about this, can you load gamesaves from web like gamefaques or similar? For unlok extras? Have you tried this option?

No luck here, every time i try to use gecko codes games crash at boot. AR codes and other patches are fine.

Which version of Dolphin are you using? There was a bug with Gecko codes for a while, even in the PC versions.
