Hey thanks for the advice! I've ticked lock cores to threads but I cant seem to see how to check which core is at 100% in task manager? All I can see is that CPU is at 100%... maybe i'm being completely foolish here, but where should I be looking?

Edit:

Ooooh in resource manager I can see 'CPU 0' and 'CPU 1' - they are both at 100%, however.

Edit:
Sorry didnt see this post!

When you are emulating a piece of software the amount of throughput needed for emulation has nothing to do with the amount needed on the native hardware. You can never say "this shouldn't be too resource intensive" because you have no way of knowing. Also what revision and settings are you using?

I'm on revision 6314 (latest one, I think?). I'm testing with new super mario bros wii, here. My settings for that are OpenGL (I can use direct3d9 which speeds stuff up but that also creates a lot of graphical errors on ocassions). And I'm using the EFB copy to GL texture option (runs very slow without this)

Edit2:
Sorry about the minor hijack, people Big Grin

That's a very undetailed settings list. I need a complete readoutm especially resolution.

If both cpu cores are at 100% then your cpu is likely the bottleneck.

upgrade cpu just for hyrule field would cost more than a wii with tp.. of you don't have it already...

Ps I have it on my wii and it runs at 100%

eheh only game i don't have on dolphin....
