What is the difference between Dolphin and Dolphin mmj ?

As you can see in the title, i'm wandering what is the difference between Dolphin and the mmj build as i tried both version (last version of each one) and the mmj worked better with high fps ?
I'm using a Xiaome Mi6: Snapdragon 835 an 6Gb of RAM
