What is the best phone with cooling? So it doesn’t thermal throttles?

Easily the Red Magic 3. It actually has an internal fan cooling a heatsink! It's a tiny fan and a tiny heatsink, so it has limitations, but it is far far better at cooling a phone SoC than any other phone out there.

I found 2 different versions of the phone. Which one do I need: the 8GB ram or the 12GB ram version?

Of course if you build a desktop or buy a laptop you could get many times the power for the same price, and they won't thermal throttle, but you know. Tongue

This was actually tested and found to be ineffective, by both xda and notebookcheck. Sadly the marketing sold quite a few people. Better options including the ROG Phone 2 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, which can achieve very high sustained performance by eschewing skin temp sensor throttling and going purely on SoC temps

I have a red magic 3s i can contest that the fan does work quite well below 45 C also for the ram it doesn't matter much but if you do want custom textures 12 gb could help with that if the textures pack is very big.
