I was looking at the Galaxy S8 and it looked like it could run it, although I would get it if I had to, are there any cheaper options out there that run it at full speed?
What is the best phone to use with the Dolphin emulator on Android?

The Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S8. It's important that it's the Snapdragon version. Exynos won't work right. Also, don't expect the S8 to run most games at full speed anyways. It runs a handful of lighter games fine.
Beyond that, there is not an ideal device for Dolphin on Android yet. Maybe in a year or two. 06-07-2017, 02:02 AM

Is it the type of thing where you can only play 5 minutes until performance is not that good? 06-07-2017, 02:06 AM
Yes.
The Snapdragon 835 is better at it, but many SD 835 phones are still throttling.
The current best smarphone is Xiaomi Mi6, it's still better than S8 Snapdragon. You can wait for OnePlus 5, maybe it will beat Xiaomi Mi6, like OnePlus 3T beats Xiaomi Mi5. But don't expect "full speed", it can run most GC games with 25-30 FPS, we still need some optimization. I believe when Vulkan get a good optimation, full speed will be possible for 30 FPS games, don't know about the 60 FPS ones.
A good phone for the money is Zuk Z2 with Snapdragon 820. It has 20-30% less peformance than Snapdragon 835 and cost the half (about $200 vs $450). Make sure you have the Indian ROM Android 7.1 for optimal performance.
PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / GTX 660 2GB / 16GB DDR4 3600MHz / Windows 10 Pro
Phones: Poco F3 8/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636) 06-07-2017, 08:44 PM
Can somebody confirm if Sony Xperia xz premium with an SD 835 run the games? In the benkmarks and antutu ,it has more points than xiami mi6. May be the best phone in the actuality

As far as I'm aware, there is currently nothing in a phone form-factor that can play many games well on dolphin (Especially bear in mind throttling, a few may be able to "play" for a minute, but be useless in the long run). Ballpark it seems sustained performance is around 1/2 the "short term" performance. So if the game you want can play at 2x speed in a short youtube video or something, you might have a chance.
It may not be worth spending $$$ extra on a "better" phone that still cannot run what you want in a playable manner, and instead save it and hope the "next" generation instead of buying something that you know won't be good enough. 06-13-2017, 08:01 PM
I am using Lenovo k5 Note but I keep getting colour bugs how to fix this? This only occurs while playing Wii games.
