Android? Probably the upcoming Cortex X1 and it's associated GPU. It's supposed to outperform all current Qualcomm ARM processors.

Apple's stuff should actually outperform it and some people have got Dolphin running on the new Apple Pro tablet with the new incredibly easy jailbreak at impressive speeds/resolutions as their chips are absolute beasts.

Dolphin emulator is not as stable on android as on PC but if you use a last generation phone it will be more than good.

just buya phone with snapdragon 865.

or wait for next year because AMD is rumored to launch its ryzen-based mobile CPU.

whatever is the latest and fastest snapdragon SoC you can afford.

Does Mali still suck with Dolphin? Skip anything that ships with a Mali GPU.

Anyways don't buy a phone with Dolphin as the target. You'll regret the decision.

Yes. Mali GPU drivers remain garbage, even nowadays.

Also, moved to Android...

My S9 runs it very well. I play the LoZ game's regularly AND Xenoblade at nearly full speed! Just get yourself a good controller because the on screen controls suck.

Many Gamecube and Wii games work quite well on Snapdragon 855 devices(my LG G8 plays Xenoblade Chronicles quite well for example). Plus, they're much cheaper now and a great alternative to often very expensive Snapdragon 865 devices.

Some tests shows huawei mate 40 pro is quaite capable with dolphin despite being mali SoC.

However its new and thus expensive and may work bad with other emulators like citra (80% fps).
