What does "sandbox" mean?

Hi! I'd like to play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and i have one question. Why do you have two versions of the game in combability list? What does "sandbox" mean?

Ignore the sandbox page. A sandbox page is essentially a copy of a page (or an entirely new page) where someone can test out making wiki edits without affecting the real page.
