What do you call it when a model has lines on it?

I'm working on Rune Factory Frontier's wiki page and discovered a graphical error from the game recently and want to add it. Namely, one that makes "holes" in the character models (the textures?) when they are viewed from a distance. Is there a term for this error?

I'm not familiar with that game but I can't see any texture holes in those screenshots...

In the faces. (a strange line going down thier face) It's pretty easy to see on the innkeeper in the second and the character in the first screenshot.
