What do I do if I have joystick drift on my controller

I have Xbox one S controller that has a slight drift to it on the left joystick. On emulators like Redream, Mame, or PPSSPP I had no problems with playing using my Xbox controller. For some reason that's not the case with Dolphin. Is there is way too make the joystick less "sensitive" or something like that on Dolphin? To be specific I had that problem while playing Smash Bros Melee

You could try increasing dead zone, but I imagine there is a worse problem.
