what controller do i need to play super mario sunshine?.

i would like to know what controller i can use to play super mario sunshine on dolphin. i have read of people using a ps3 controller. i have one of these but do i need a gamecube controller? any help will be much appreciated. thankyou.

any controller with 2 analog sticks 1 digital and enough buttons should be fine...

the bests are ps3 controller with usb cable
xbox360 wired
or 360 wireless with reciver
