What build is best for Resident Evil 1?

The best I could find was 3661 but my monitor does this static vertical line thing that resembles a flicker if I play it

Later builds have invisible characters or bad fps.

Any suggestions?

to me it's 39xx all others run like crap

I keep getting bizarre monitor artifact flicker things across my screen in it. My camera won't capture it (too sensitive) and I can't screen cap it.

What do I do?

I tested 3661 moments ago, but I get sound problems. Do you get sound problems?

I did get the sound problems but I enabled the RE0 fix to fix it. It's under DSP Options.

Try to active vsync.

I just ended the game with 3972, only background does not play.
