It seems to me that some people aren;t having problems using the real wiimotes while most of us are. we really need to narrow this down. PLease reply:

If your wiimote(s) are working:

1) what software and drivers are you using?

2) what bluetooth dongle if you can remember?

3) what remote (genuine or 3rd party, nunchuck or not, motion plus or not)

THANKS! We need to narrow this down!

Certainly!

I use a IOGEAR - GBU421 - Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter with the software that came with it.
I'm using a genuine white Wiimote that came with the Wii.

Also I'm using the stable 3.0 x64 version of Dolphin.

Don't know if it's important but I'm also using a 3rd party wireless sensor bar branded Nyko.

Everything works perfect.

I can't remember what the brand is for the bluetooth adapter I'm using at the moment but it works OK with my genuine Wiimote in Dolphin 3.0 x64 and Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64
Can't really say I've had much problems using a real Wiimote except for occasional disconnects.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii have worked perfectly and Super Smash Bros. Brawl also.
Donkey Kong Country Returns is the one that have provided me with the most disconnects.

But sideways Wiimote games is fairly easy to configure with a gamepad if it get's too annoying.

Well I only had to hook up bluetooth dongle and Windows will install microsoft's generic drivers for it automatically.

When pairing up with wiimote in Dolphin's wiimote configuration you'll see drivers was installed successfully and ready to use. The wiimote drivers must be coming from Dolphin Smile
