Anyone has a list, we can make one provided we get enough information.

Any of you gotten your 360 XInput controller to work with dolphin?

I've bought a gamesir recently but it doesn't support dolphin or rather it does, but dolphin doesn't the detect all the buttons for the controller ( other emulators do even websites do ), so I am wondering whats a good alternative.

The GameCube controller with the Nintendo adapter (or the mayflash clone) and real Wii Remotes are always the absolute best! But for general controllers, the Dual Shock 4 (with the SCPToolkit) is my favorite, and the Dual Shock 3 (again, SCPToolkit) and the Xbox One controller are also good choices. The 360 controller is ok as a cheap option, but its buttons are mushy and the dpad is horrific; I would not recommend it, especially since there are much better choices now.

DS3 used to be the best controller for me but it's a pain in the ass because it's not plug and play and it's quite heavy , the rumble feature does not work at all .
8bitdo's FC-30 controller is plug and play , it also has bluetooth feature but it does not have enough button to map to Dolphin .
DS4 is ugly IMO .
Wiimote is fun when you're playing with friends (or may be not , battery wear out very fast !)
X360 controller is similar to DS3 . So I won't say anything about it
Wii Classic Controller Pro is the best controller I have so far . It's plug and play (if you buy Classic controller to USB converter ) , no need for any driver/software . It's super light-weight and that is very important for me .
Edit : You can connect 2 controllers to 1 USB port !

I actually love Rock Candy's x360 controllers, dpad's amazing, you just have to take really good care of them otherwise they'll break and/or get confused.

Thanks a lot, and yeah I used to love the 360 back in my day, but I think I'll go with a PS4 since thats the mainstream console most people use so I can just bring it to a friends house or anything.

Weird, considering the one I have now doesn't work, which uses the same XBOX 360 XInput, that rock candy's one shouldn't.
Than again I am really confused by dolphin not picking up some buttons on this controller when even a html5 random website on google does.

Try this
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...Controller
it will work on both PS3 and Xbox360 controller
To avoid driver conflict issues , uninstall any driver except official driver from Microsoft

I'm a huge fan of Scarlet Crush and his work, buuuut he stopped updating the SCPDrivers a while ago. The SCPDrivers are open source, so some other devs picked it up and started making the SCPToolkit. I prefer recommending the SCPToolkit these days!

Do any of you mind giving me a mini tut on how to use it? this controller uses a usb to connect trough bluetooth (or wi-fi do not know) wifi (maybe I should get a bluetooth adapter and see if that fixes it), though I am pretty certained I can also use it with a USB cable.

anyways this is my problem

Here's how I use my DS4 - Press the PS button, wait for it to connect, play a game. That's it! Follow the installation instructions and it's super easy to use!

Just connect your controller to USB cable , download and install the software (ScpServer\bin\ScpServer : Force Install) and then ...wait Did Microsoft remove the driver for Xbox360 ? I can't access the driver download page anymore

Edit : Ok fine . Good thing that I still have the driver
