I look forward to it. My only concern is that the issues in d3d11/openGL that require the use of d3d9 won't be fixed. And that the dropped features won't be added to openGL/d3d11. Every time I bring these things up you avoid answering me for some reason and lately have even been acting slightly rude. Which is not like you at all. This understandably only raises my level of concern. Even a simply yes/no would suffice. No response generally means it's not going to happen, which is problematic. Posting statements and images implying that you don't care is even more concerning. Surely you can understand my position?

Not without putting myself in an awkward position. I'll PM you.

And what about the bugs that occur in BOTH openGL and d3d11? Since d3d9 is gone now we're kind of fucked when it comes to these. I think that was the OPs point.

Except that all the veteran members still remember what you did.
It is a bad situation that i don't want to remember but i guess it deserves an answer from my side of the story of what happened back then and do what you want with it.

Back then Starscream was -1 plenty of my commits in Dolphin saying that he doesn't like my work with Dolphin. Problem is he wasn't some random guy on the internet that you should ignore for his ignorance, other people followed him in what he did afterwards and i thought that besides an admin in the forums he was also an old dolphin coder that deserved some answers. I had a disagreement in google code with delroth for posting code that he reverted in a minutes notice with a smirky comment that made me think that people really didn't like or respected my work here taking in account what Starscream did above too. So what else is there than really leave the project and ask for my work to be removed and stay like that since they really didn't like it. They banned me for that from google code and probably i did deserved that but i didn't care at that point based on the situation (as i thought things were). At the same time i said in the forums that i discontinue my work and Starscream started closing off my threads at the same time. I thought he wouldn't even leave me to say what i wanted and to my rush and due to being angry with him i deleted a diagram i made that i knew he liked for gpu benchmark. And then he banned me from the forums telling me see you next year for that, have a happy new year in a sense. That got me even more angry and i did in rage what he did to me in google code -1 all the commits i could find (up to that point remember i thought he was a developer too). At the same time i talked with delroth and the guy told me that he didn't disrespected my work but he wanted me to follow a certain procedure like others did. While i thought he could handle the situation better, he did make a good point and i didn't had a problem with what he said so i reverted my-1s in google code. Still there wasn't much point to follow IRC since i wasn't a coder to begin with (felt a bit out of place and never really liked irc) so i abandoned manipulating code of dolphin altogether. Months later a dev emailed me asking me if i had cooled down and wanted to return and i said sure but i won't return to the forums unless Starscream gave me an apology. He never did and i didn't return as long he was here. But i found out he did unbanned me at some point.

PS. While i was in rage mode with ss he said a lot of lies for why he banned me, like that i was deleting posts and threads all over the place in the forums which was a big fat lie and i deserved what happened and he did absolutely nothing wrong. Point is though that the guy disliked me and i disliked him. And i think that the fact that he had a weak amd laptop for dolphin made him criticise me all over the place. It wasn't my problem though that the situation was like that for him neither my work was doing something really bad and sinister.

I understand his point. I also recommended using an old build in case both D3D11 and OpenGL has problems.

That is not the point. It has nothing to do with which back-end is most compatible but the OP concerns about the issues on D3D11 that don't occur on D3D9. Anyway, how long is "in time"? I reported a D3D11 issue about 1 month ago but it hasn't been fixed yet. I'm just curious.

To be fair, I was the one who banned you from the forums if I recall correctly (with SS's agreement), because I figured you didn't know what you were doing and you'd sooner or later regret deleting some of your own posts (which, at the time, had some useful info IIRC). I'm not sure if I was also the one who unbanned you.

Glad to see you're back at the forums anyway Wink

You did? Man what a mess... Still he lied telling that i did stuff that i never did, i still don't like the guy. Funnily if he didn't close my threads i wouldn't have deleted not even that graph, as i thought he was about to ban me for no good reason, and felt a bit evil at that point, knowing that was the only thing that he actually liked from everything i did. I wouldn't have deleted anything as i knew full well that what i did in googlecode was very easily reversible and pointless (just reverse a commit and you are done Tongue ). It was more of a "hey, i actually did some work here, look" statement. And when i came to the forums i was just about to announce that i would stop working at least for the time being for all the projects i was doing at time, not to delete them. Well it was a mess alright. And yeah good to be back i guess.

Since Dev's are posting in this thread i think it's safe to ask.

I work on texture packs and so far all the games i am working on have broken fonts when using DX11, So without DX9 i am forced to use OGL. which isn't to big of a deal to me really. But my question is, Do you intend to try and sort out this issue? Or is support for textures packs not a priority? (obviously accurate emulation takes highest priority)
